Simple - Visual - Flexible Learning

Northern Care First Aid, being a training partner with Australian Premier Learning Group (Australian First Aid the Registered Training Organisation number 3586), is able to provide face to face, online and workbook training solutions to meet the needs of today's workplace, business, organisation and student.

Provide First Aid practical courses can be scheduled for one or two full days of 6 to 8 hours, two half days of 3 to 4 hours or several evenings of 2 to 4 hours with flexible times and dates.

Short courses of 3 hours duration each cover asthma and anaphylaxis with Asthma Foundation Victoria or Australian Premier Learning Group accreditation.

The prerequisite for one day blended Provide First Aid is the self-managed completion of an internet-based online (e-learning) program or conventional workbook based training program.

Two full days face to face training is also available with no online or workbook pre-requisites.

This training can also be spread over multiple sessions.

Training can be either workplace, onsite or at pre-arranged local venues.

Fire and Safety training can be arranged with NKM Fire and Training.

Real Life Learning

The current system for Provide First Aid (previously Level 2) includes up to 19 videos to help increase retention with real-life scenario based learning.

First Aid Training Methods

The core values underlying our Training Method Development include:

  • Increased retention of information for students.

  • Addressing varying learning abilities.

  • Practical use of learning and skills.

  • Employer financial and time savings.

  • Compliance to stse and national standards.

  • Currency of updated information.

  • Online and workbook Theory.

Online or Workbook Theory

Saves time, is convenient and saves money in lost productivity, transport and other training costs.

Both online and workbook systems meet National Certification requirements.

So, how does it all work?

It's simple, with or without access to a computer or the internet, you can undertake your theory training and assessment prior to attending your practical training and assessment day by selecting either the online or workbook program.

Self paced learning

When using our online or workbook programs, you can simply undertake your training and assessment when it's convenient for you, prior to attending your practical training and assessment day.

There's less pressure to Provide in a classroom "exam like" environment.

Face to Face

Traditional, two day face to face classroom training for HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, remains available and is still the preferred method of delivery for many businesses, organizations and students.

This method of learning allows for greater interaction between students and trainers during the theory component of the training and is often useful where language or technology barriers exist.
